A useful COA must be unambiguously linked to a batch. Check the batch number, date, sample, method, issuing laboratory and the person or system approving the result.
HPLC and mass spectrometry
HPLC can describe the chromatographic profile under the conditions of the method used, while mass spectrometry can support molecular-mass verification. Neither method alone justifies every claim about identity, quantity, sterility, endotoxins or suitability for a particular use.
Warning signs
Avoid documents without a batch or method, documents with repeatedly identical results, or those whose issuer cannot be verified. PeptidaLab will not publish percentages or certificates until the documents have been received and validated.
