Semax, Selank and DSIP are often grouped under labels such as “cognitive” or “sleep”, but that commercial grouping oversimplifies the literature. Each has a different sequence and experimental history.

Semax and Selank

Preclinical research explores neuromodulation, expression of selected factors and behavioural responses. Ac-Semax-NH₂ and Ac-Selank-NH₂ must not be confused with unmodified sequences.

DSIP and sleep literature

DSIP is a nonapeptide described in historical studies with heterogeneous results. The name does not establish a predictable effect or replace material characterisation.

Reading the evidence

Models, species, methods and endpoints differ. Claims about human memory, focus, anxiety or sleep cannot be inferred directly from preclinical experiments.

Conclusion

These materials are relevant as experimental tools only when identity and study design are clear. They are not presented for self-administration.
